Who is responsible

Mobi, a web studio based in Brussels, Belgium, is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at info@mobiwebsites.be or +32 488 58 92 49.

What we collect and why

Project brief form. Your name, email address, company (optional), the options you select, your message and the language of the page. We use this to reply to you and prepare a proposal. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Email, phone and WhatsApp. When you contact us directly we receive your contact details and whatever you send us. We use it to answer you, on the same legal basis.

Booking a call. We schedule calls with Calendly. When you book, Calendly processes your name, email address, the time you choose and any answers you give, on our behalf.

Visit statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views, referrers, countries and device types. It does not use cookies, does not follow you across websites and does not identify you personally. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.

Technical data. Our hosting provider processes your IP address and request details to deliver the website and protect it against abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

Cookies and local storage

This website does not set cookies. It saves your language and light or dark theme choice in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers them. That information stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Who receives your data

We only share personal data with service providers that help us run the website and the studio, under agreements that protect your data:

• Vercel Inc.: website hosting and visit statistics
• Web3Forms: delivery of the project brief form to our inbox
• Calendly LLC: scheduling calls
• Our email provider: handling our correspondence

If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) processes that conversation under its own terms. Some providers are based outside the European Economic Area; transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to a project: deleted at the latest 12 months after our last contact.
• Client and project data: for the duration of the collaboration, and invoices and accounting records for as long as Belgian law requires (currently 7 years).
• Visit statistics: kept only in aggregated form.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email info@mobiwebsites.be and we will answer within one month.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS only, and access to your data is limited to the people at Mobi who need it to work with you.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
